This sculpture – 3D Art section won’t generally contain a large number of items as they tend to take far longer to create than for someone to buy them! Everything you find here is hand-painted and many (but not all) of the items available for sale are hand painted resin casts of clay originals – the originals generally being destroyed during the moulding process. Unless stated otherwise, any items found here will be produced either as one-offs or as very limited number editions.
I enjoy sculpture and other types of 3D Art and I’ve created a wide range of sculptures over the years, from life-size busts down to items that can sit in the palm of your hand. These days, I prefer to concentrate on smaller, more fun, items. As I hope you can see.
I often use resin to reproduce sculpture originals simply because it is so very durable and much better for hand painting than other materials. In many cases, a choice of finish is available, including single-colour metal finishes (with metal powder incorporated into the resin) and individually hand painted versions.
